Exclusive: New Jersey’s newly elected democratic Governor Philip D. Murphy met with leading members of Community Coalition at his office to help understand the needs of local communities. Governor Murphy has briefed the community leaders about NJ State’s $37.4 billion budget that he had announced on March 13th and discussed priorities in the coming year, and how the budget can help the community thrive.

 

The community leaders including Nepali entrepreneur Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar who is Advisor to Jersey City Mayor Fulop; Dr. Jianping Wang, President of Mercer County Community College; Banker Christine Bridgelal; Businessman Bobby Patel; Lt. Col. Mukesh N. Roy of U.S. Air National Guard; Attorney Sharmila D. Jaipersaud and several other members of local communities.
