Indian engineers both worked at Garmin, a GPS technology company.

Trump’s unjust executive orders, which have caused fear and anxiety about immigrant deportations and 7-country Muslim travel bans across the country. In a rally called “Love Fights Back”, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, a Democrat, said, "We all come from somewhere and all welcome here in New York City. In fact, immigrants, Muslims from all over the world make New York City world's great city but without them, it is not a great city. ...we have 150 languages in our city, thank goodness. Immigrants own 83,000 businesses in our city and they are 40% of our work force. The immigrant community earns a 100 billion dollars a year."

Exclusive: New York- Following several days of growing national concern about increase ICE enforcement activity, the New York Immigration Coalition received information that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has officially arrested nearly 40 individuals in the greater New York area, as part of a targeted enforcement operation. In a memo dated Saturday, February 11th, ICE claimed that these arrests were part of “routine, daily targeted operations” and noted that additional persons encountered during these operations would, “when appropriated [sic], arrested by ICE.” ICE has already confirmed operations in five other states last week.
