न्यूयोर्कका तिब्बतियनहरुले UN अगाडि धर्ना कसे
न्यूयोर्क, March 17, 2008-तिब्बतमा भई रहेको चिनिया सरकारी दमन, हत्या, र धरपकडको आज दिन भर संरासं (UN) को मुख्यालय अगाडि झन्डै ७०० जनाको अमेरिकि तिब्बतियनहरुको जुलुसले नाराबाजी र धर्ना बस्यो।
पाँच संस्थाहरु Regional Tibetan Youth Congress of New York & New Jersey, Tibetan Community New York & New Jersey, Regional Tibetan Women Association NY & NJ, Student for a free Tibet (SFT) and United States Tibetan Community (USTC) को आयोजनामा डाकिएको सो बिरोध कार्यक्रममा भारतमा निर्बासित जिबन बिताइ रहेका दलाई लामाको सरकार Central Tibet Administration, Dharamsala, India को मन्त्री परिषदले सो धर्नालाई समर्थन गरी पठाइएको प्रेस बिज्यप्ती पत्र पढेर सुनाइयो।
यस अघी यि पाँच संस्थाहरुले संरासंका महासचिब बान कि-मुनलाई भेटी ग्यापन पत्र बुझाएका थिए। (पढ्नुहोस्) यसैबिच, २० जना धर्नाकारी तिब्बतियनहरुलाई उनिहरु संरासं अगाडिको बाटोमा सुते पछि न्यूयोर्क शहरको प्रहरीले गिरफ्तार गरेको थियो। यि पाँच संस्थाहरुले भोली चिनिया दुताबासमा धर्ना गर्ने कार्यक्रम छ।
त्यसै गरी, युएस नेपाल अनलाइनलाई प्राप्त सरकारी रिपोर्ट चाँही यस प्रकार छ । (पढ्नुहोस्)

American born Sherap 7, with her mother Kalsang born in Nepal, came to USA in 1992. Kalsang's parents escaped from Tibet in 1962 and now live in Kathmandu, Nepal.
