Kiran Nepal Is Himal Khabar Magazine's New Editor

Journalist Kiran Nepal has been appointed as the new editor of Himal Khabarpatrika.
Before this, Nepal had served as the Executive Editor of the fortnightly magazine.
In transfering the editorial responsibility from himself to Nepal, publisher Kanak Mani Dixit
said, "Kiran Nepal's experiences and energy will be vital ib taking on the challenges facing
the press and larger society today. He has a deep understanding of the importance of
press freedom for the protection of democracy and for socio-economic advancement of
the country. I believe that under his leadership the Himal team will be even more effective in
the area of of investigative journalism."

Editor Nepal is also the President of the Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON).
