Mississauga, Canada, November 21, 2008- Peel Career Assessment Services Inc. has honoured Pashupati Pokharel, a Nepali national who has been working as a supervisor and machine operator in Phoenix Biomedical Products for a year.

The Settlement Program for Newcomers and Diversity Works Awards recognized his commitment and support towards the organisation in pursuit of employment success for Newcomers in Canada.

The award ceremony was jointly inaugurated by Yolanda Chung, Settlement Officer, Citizen and Immigration Canada, and Amrit Mangat, MPP. Peel Career Assessment Services Inc is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals with barriers to employment for new comers in Canada.

Amrit Mangat, MPP said during her speech, “a person who is committed, honest, hard working and patient, will always be recognized one day.” She congratulated the awardees and expressed her continuous support of the program. When she presented the award to Mr. Pashupati Pokharel he expressed his gratitude for the organization and told how happy he is for being able to show his honesty, commitment and cooperation to the organization and thanked all for the recognition and award.
